Turnberry Golf Course is holding several exciting events this spring. Come on out to play golf on Sunday, April 26 and stop by the driving range for our 3rd Annual Golf Festival and Open House. We will have free range balls for you to hit as well as free golf clinics at 11 a.m., 12p.m. and 2 p.m. You can also pre-register for a free club fitting. 1. “Get Golf Ready in 5 Days” Group Golf Clinics – Thursdays, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
5-week group golf lessons for beginners or golfers that are intimidated by the golf course. Each week includes golf instruction and an introduction to the golf course, culminating in playing a hole on the golf course. Graduate golf outings will also be available starting in June. Starts April 16 and is only $99. Call 645-2582 to sign up.
2. Basic Golf School – Tuesdays, 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.
6-week group lesson program designed for beginners or golfers that want to brush-up on the basics. Three weeks are spent learning the golf swing and three weeks learning the short game (putting, chipping, pitching and bunkers). Starts April 21 and is only $99. Call 645-2582 to sign up.
3. Turnberry Kids Group Lessons – Saturdays, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
5-week group golf lessons for ages 6-11. Each week is designed to build the golfer’s ability along with their confidence in the game of golf. The program focuses on the development and retention of the proper golf swing along with short game mechanics. Starts April 18 and is only $79. Call 645-2582 to sign up.
4. Demo Day – Sat. May 2, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Columbus Municipal Golf Division is hosting free three-day Junior Golf Clinics at three sites this summer for golfers ages 7-17. The sessions are June 15-17 at Raymond Memorial (645-3276), July 7-9 at Champions (645-7111) and Aug. 4-6 at Turnberry Golf Course (645-2582).
